EHR Billing Specialist

Position Summary:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Prefer higher education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.

Experience:

Prefer two years experience in medical billing

Extensive experience with EHR software and general computer applications

Data entry experience

Experience using billing software

Training:

Billing and Coding Knowledge-understanding of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) and healthcare insurance terminology.

Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects with established deadlines

Proficiency in medical terminology

Strong patient and customer service skills, including excellent phone etiquette
