Whoever you are and whatever your role is, with Luminor, you will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a local banking champion.

As a DevOps Engineer in the Engineering Transactions Department, you will design, build, and maintain automated infrastructure to support engineering transaction platforms. You'll focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt to ensure consistent, scalable, and reliable environments across the lifecycle. You will drive automation and configuration management best practices, collaborate closely with engineering teams, and continuously improve infrastructure reliability, deployment efficiency, and operational excellence.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) with hands-on experience in constructing and managing cloud-based infrastructure on the AWS platform
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt, as well as CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab, essential for managing and automating infrastructure deployments and updates
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, necessary for developing automation scripts to streamline manual processes and improve efficiency
  • Experience with deployment management: Actively involved in or serving as the executor for deployments and releases to both production and non-production environments, utilizing contracting pipelines for infrastructure and applications, as well as Helm charts for streamlined and reliable delivery of updates and new features across the entire infrastructure
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level

You'll work extensively with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt to ensure scalable, consistent, and reliable environments across the entire lifecycle. This role places strong emphasis on networking and monitoring configuration, ensuring robust connectivity, observability, and operational resilience. You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams to drive automation, improve system reliability, and enhance deployment efficiency.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Experience managing deployments across production and non-production environments using automated pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience in incident management and root cause analysis
  • Experience or interest in AI/ML technologies is a strong advantage

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Create software tools to automate processes and enhance efficiency, reliability for DevOps, ITOps, and support teams while also constructing and managing cloud-based infrastructure on the AWS platform
  • Documenting best practices and lessons learned
  • Conducting post-incident reviews and implementing remediation actions
  • Designing, building, and maintaining reliable software systems
  • Driving the adoption of DevOps best practices within the organization
  • Leading root cause analysis of system failures and implementing strategies to prevent future incidents
  • Advising various stakeholders within the organization on cloud technologies and best practices, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Proactively identifying areas for enhancement within our infrastructure and devising solutions to implement improvements
