Field Engineer
The Field Engineer is responsible for implementing corrosion control programs, overseeing chemical supply logistics, and ensuring operational safety compliance. The role supports seamless field operations by managing monitoring, reporting, and customer coordination.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement corrosion treatment and control programs, ensuring continuous optimization.
- Inspect isotank condition upon receipt and complete reports with supporting pictures.
- Conduct sampling and analysis as required.
- Manage and monitor logistics tasks related to chemical supply and inventory.
- Participate in customer safety meetings and submit monthly safety observations.
- Adherent fully to Clariant and customer safety standards.
- Prepare and submit timesheets to customers on time.
- Ensure accurate and timely issuance of receipts.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or Oil & Gas Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Field Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of fluid sampling procedures, data management, and reporting.
- Experience with chemical injection systems, dosing pumps, and related equipment.
- Familiarity with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) aspects of transporting, handling, and using hazardous chemicals in production.
- Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural operational environments.
