As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met.
While you will spend most of your time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, your daily responsibilities may vary by department. Customer Service Associates work in one of the following departments, based on hiring needs and skillsets: Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.
Key responsibilities include: welcoming customers to Lowe's, answering questions, and delivering friendly and professional customer service; assisting customers with locating and handling merchandise; down stocking merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies; processing orders and deliveries accurately; cross-functionally training in other areas of the store; preparing merchandise in your department based on customer needs; and completing other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include six months of experience using a computer, six months of experience using common retail technology, reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic, and the ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation.
Preferred qualifications include six months of retail and/or customer service experience, bi-lingual skills, and certification in trade related to department.
This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores. Working conditions may vary by location, including exposure to varying climates, constant or intermittent noises, and moving or shaking objects and equipment.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.40 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
