We are seeking dedicated people to join our staff supporting our mission. This position plays a vital role in the care, security and enhancing the quality of life and well-being of the people we support.

Minimum Qualifications: No experience or training required.

Job Duties:

• Assist individuals with their purchases and the use of their money.
• Assist the developmentalist in the training of individuals with job placements at the Baker's Secret.
• Assist and train individuals to complete time sheets and training sheets.
• Work in the preparation, service, and sale of food and beverages at the Baker's Secret.
• Maintain a welcoming and friendly attitude toward all customers.
• Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance of the Baker's Secret and its equipment.
• Work the cash register as needed.
• On holidays and Saturdays, be a lead staff by opening and closing the Baker's Secret.
• Total and document all sales and money at the end of the shift.
• Ensure the Baker's Secret is left in a clean and orderly condition.
• Make sure all doors are secured at the end of the shift.

Position-Specific Details:

• Location: Pinecrest Supports and Services Center – Employment Services – Bakers Secret
• Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer or Detail to Special Duty.
• Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
• Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $972.00 bi-weekly.

As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Residential Services Specialist 1 or 2 depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant.
