Electrical Systems Engineer

Assist in the design and development of motor drives, valve controllers, electronic control units and associated wire harnesses for defense applications. Support the testing and characterization of components using power supplies, power analyzers oscilloscopes, and signal generators. Participate in the prototyping and assembly of vapor cycle systems for evaluation and testing purposes. Create and maintain accurate documentation, including schematics, layout files, test plans, and reports, for PCB designs and testing activities. Ability to work with MATLAB, Simulink, Altium and SolidWorks Electrical to facilitate the design of electrical components. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project execution. Identify and troubleshoot issues during design, testing, and integration phases, proposing and implementing effective solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in engineering and defense-related technologies.

This is a permanent position based out of Baton Rouge, LA. The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $140,000.00/yr. Please see me for a benefits at a glance overview.
