Cedars-Sinai is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our premier Interventional Radiology team. The S. Mark Taper Foundation Imaging Center specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided treatments for conditions that once required surgery.
Conduct thorough intake and assessment of patients to determine their suitability for interventional radiology procedures. Explain procedures to patients as part of the treatment team and provide comprehensive education on procedural information and post-care instructions. Maintain detailed and accurate clinic documentation for all patient interactions and treatments. Coordinate the care of medically complex patients in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. Oversee the post-procedure care of interventional radiology patients, including managing and treating any side effects. Order necessary tests, procedures, and imaging to facilitate patient care and treatment outcomes. Direct clinic RNs in day-to-day activities to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care. Potential to perform minor procedures and line placements as part of patient treatment.
Master of Nursing Degree. Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered. Interventional radiology and/or procedural experience highly preferred. Current CA RN License. Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License. National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NPI). Current DEA License (schedule 2-5). Current (Life Support Certification) required. Cedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
