Job Opportunity: Developer For Due Diligence Portal Application

LSEG is looking for a highly motivated developer to join a team working on the Due Diligence Portal application. You'll work with various modern technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot and GraphQL, and have the opportunity to improve your React skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code based on User Stories.
• Develop software using Agile methodologies, adhering to team/company standards.
• Participate in planning sessions with team members to analyze requirements and provide design options, work breakdown and estimates of work.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex software issues and bugs.
• Focus on quality through unit testing, integration testing and peer reviews, ensuring software meets the requirements.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing knowledge and experience, and working closely together with the technical lead to deliver innovative solutions.

Crucial Skills/Experience Required

• 3+ years' experience with software development in Java.
• Solid understanding of Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience in component based architecture.
• Understanding of code quality measurements and ability to implement efficient Unit Tests.
• Experience in Git and Gitlab.
• Ability to work independently and in close collaboration with others in the team and across projects.
• Good communication skills, reliable team player, independent, and self-organized.
• Ability to communicate effectively and accurately in English, encompassing both speaking and writing.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with React.
• Experience with Mongo DB, Document DB or any no-SQL database, ideally also experience with complex queries
• Experience with AWS technologies like S3, SQS, SES and Secrets Manager.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience with GraphQL.
