Role Summary:

We're looking for a skilled Data Engineer who can take ownership of data workflows, ensure reliable data movement, and support our data distribution ecosystem. You'll work closely with engineering and product teams to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines in a cloud-first environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain pipelines in Azure Data Factory, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Build and optimize data models and transformations using SQL Server.
• Write Python scripts for automation, data processing, quality checks, and integration tasks.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and implement long-term improvements that strengthen data quality and system resilience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support business decision-making.

What You'll Bring:

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for orchestrating complex ETL/ELT workflows.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including performance tuning and advanced query work.
• Practical Python experience for data manipulation, automation, and pipeline logic.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to Databricks for advanced analytics, Spark-based processing, or notebook workflows.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure deployments and managing cloud resources as code.
