The management of load carriers (e.g. pallets, containers) is a process away from the core business and causes personnel costs, capital commitment, transports and disputes with customers. Available software solutions are only suitable for sections of load carriers and require costly implementation projects. Furthermore, every new user must be trained. By combining knowledge from various consulting and development projects with deep technology knowledge (cloud, app, AI, IoT) we can offer the only solution that is suitable for all types of load carriers and can be used immediately without a project. We do not stop at the generation and visualization of data but automate many processes that are manual today, such as the reconciliation of balances or the reclaiming of own load carriers. Our vision is to build a cross-industry ecosystem, the operating system, for load carriers. This also helps the environment by reducing paper and transport and using existing load carriers more efficiently.

Join Our Team as a Software Developer with AI Focus

Are you passionate about bringing AI into a real product? Then you’re in the right place! We are looking for a dedicated software developer with an AI focus (m/w/d) to help shape the next generation of our logistics platform with modern .NET, a strong team, and a clear vision for the use of AI.

We are a young tech company developing an innovative software solution for logistics. Our goal: to make reusable solutions as simple as disposable ones and to optimize one of the most annoying processes in the industry while significantly reducing the CO₂ footprint of logistics.

In this role, you will bring AI where it truly adds value: in our product for our customers and in our workflows as a team. You will design and implement AI-based features and make our development processes more efficient with modern AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • AI Features in Product: You will design and implement AI-driven features in our SaaS product – from LLM integrations to RAG applications and intelligent automations.
  • AI Strategy: You will identify with product, sales, customer success, and other areas where AI can provide real value and implement the most promising ideas.
  • AI Architecture & Tech Decisions: You will make informed decisions about which models, frameworks, and patterns (e.g., function calling, retrieval, agents) are suitable for which use cases, keeping costs, performance, and maintainability in mind.
  • Workflow Optimization with AI: You will actively use AI tools in your daily development routine (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) and contribute ideas on how we can become more efficient as a whole team – from engineering to sales and support.
  • Prototyping & Validation: You will build quick prototypes to test new AI ideas and decide with the team which ones make it to production.
  • Knowledge Transfer: You will share your knowledge about AI trends, new models, and best practices with the team and help build our AI competency as a company.
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with product management, development teams, and other departments to create smart AI solutions for real problems.

Qualification

  • Education & Background: You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification or relevant practical experience.
  • AI Experience: You have worked with LLM APIs (e.g., Anthropic, Gemini) and understand concepts like prompt engineering, function calling, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Development Know-How: You are proficient in at least one modern programming language (preferably C# /.NET) and can independently implement production-ready features.
  • Pragmatism & Product Thinking: You recognize where AI adds real value and prefer to quickly build a prototype for validation rather than planning the perfect solution for months.
  • Communication: You can explain technical topics clearly, even to non-technical colleagues from sales, support, or management.
  • Clean Code & Architecture: You have a good understanding of clean code and modern software architectures, even when working in the AI field often in a prototyping mode.
  • AI Mindset: For you, AI is neither hype nor threat but a fixed part of modern software development – and you want to continuously develop yourself and your work with new technologies.
  • Team Spirit: You actively contribute in meetings, think along, and share your ideas.
