Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The C2BMC Training Developer/Instructor will be responsible for developing training materials (computer-based training, instructor guides, operator manuals, checks-on-learning) and conducting training events for MDA and warfighter users of C2BMC application operations and missile defense C2 operations. Interface across C2BMC National Team release trains and resource areas to define requirements and maintain up to date training plans and materials. Prepare plans, internal communications, and other briefings for Training team and C2BMC program leadership. Represent the C2BMC National Team to MDA and warfighter users while conducting training in the field or train-the-trainer programs.

Previous experience designing and producing interactive training systems using Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM), Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL), and web-based learning, Specifically for government or military C2 systems. Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams including trainers, software engineers, and other disciplines on a software development contract. Experience with applications used to create web-based and classroom training materials (Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photo Shop, Articulate, MS Office Suite) is a plus. Candidate possesses outstanding written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
