Tool Design Engineer

You will be the Tool Design Engineer for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for designing innovative tooling solutions to support production and experimental purposes, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tool Design Engineer to join our team.

As the Tool Design Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing 3D modeling software to conceptualize, create, and integrate industrial machinery, equipment, and tools. You will design dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype models, and robotics end-of-arm tooling, taking into account factors such as accessibility, ergonomics, safety, economy, mobility, and performance requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype models, and robotics end-of-arm tooling for production or experimental purposes.
• Utilizing 3D modeling software to conceptualize, create, and integrate industrial machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Accounting for various factors such as accessibility, ergonomics, safety, economy, mobility, and performance requirements while developing solutions.

This position typically requires 2 years of professional experience.
