Test Engineering Assoc Manager / RF /Microelectronics / Chelmsford, MA

What You Will Be Doing
- Guiding a team in the development, duplicate deliveries and sustainment of custom automated test equipment (ATE) systems for digital, RF, and microwave products.
- Collaborating with industry-leading RF and microwave design professionals across multiple Lockheed sites
- Providing technical creativity and direction to project teams.
- Encouraging continuous process improvement initiatives across the Chelmsford site.
- Managing the opportunities between new test equipment development while maintaining production capacity and equipment.
- Serving as a primary spokesperson for Test Engineering internally and externally.
- Act as advocate for your employees supporting their assignments, growth and development to perform at their best.
- Security Requirement: Applicants must undergo a government security investigation and meet eligibility criteria for accessing classified information.
For a level 5, we typically require a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience.

- Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
- Proposal Development Experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE) Development and bid strategies
- Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking
- Process Improvement and Affordability experience
- Demonstrated engagement in 1LMX initiatives
- Tangible Items List (TILs) development and submission
- Basic knowledge of contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Plus) and how they may alter execution strategy
- Basic knowledge of contract funding vehicles (FEA, UCA, UB etc) and how they may alter execution strategy
- Proficiency with PAC3 program office in CHE and Dallas with understanding of how CHE Test Equipment life cycle supports and interfaces to the program
- General knowledge of Chelmsford Test Engineering scope across all programs especially PAC3

Pay Rate
- The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
