This group of diverse engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force mission reaching back to the 1960s. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area must be done right, pass meticulous certifications and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in AFSP. This role is contingent upon a contract award expected March 2026. As a Systems Integration Test Engineer for the Sentinel program, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating test equipment design and procurement, in collaboration with other disciplines

• Development and delivery of contractual artifacts

• Planning systems/hardware integration and test activities

• Participating in reviews of design drawings/schematics, specifications, and test procedures

• Supporting customer meetings

• Organizing and troubleshooting hardware/software design, requirements generation, product development, test execution, and verification activities

Desired skills:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering area from an accredited college

• Experience with Strategic Reentry Programs or related Program, Project or Customer

• Experience in a test and requirements verification environment

• Experience in Test Operations including the test planning and development process, and electrical ground test equipment

• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to track, monitor, and achieve progress on multiple projects simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability as an effective communicator

• Experience generating collaborative solutions with ability to resolve conflicts with tact and teamwork

• Experience with Critical Nuclear Weapon Design Information (CNWDI)

• Knowledge of DOORS, Cameo, Automation Framework, and ePDM

• Active DoD Top Secret level clearance or above with investigation within the last 5 years

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
