For over 60 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team has supported the Navy's mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense. What does this role look like?

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Titusville, FL, and be expected to work in the office as needed.

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Self Starter with desire to learn.

• FBM Program Experience.

• Experience with Cameo modeling and MBSE concepts.

• Basic understanding of Project Management.

• Knowledge of MILCON and FBM Sustainment Processes.

• Experience engaging with SPB/SPK government representatives.

• Knowledge of the SWFs and their building functions.
