Systems Engineer Senior Staff - Project Lead - Level 5

You will be the Systems Engineer Senior Staff- Project Lead for the Simulation and System Labs (SSL) which is responsible for designing, procuring, developing, testing, and sustaining aircraft flight simulation systems as well as the integration and test of aircraft software, systems, and subsystems.

What you will be doing:

As the Systems Engineer Senior Staff- Project Lead, you will be responsible for project-management leadership producing and maintaining lab infrastructure for simulation products for internal and external customers. The selected candidate will manage proposals, schedule, cost, and technical scope for lab and product development to support integration and test of operational flight software for multiple contracts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading daily project activities
• Mitigating risk and opportunity impacts
• Communicating project progress to all levels of leadership
• Demonstrating familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

Desired skills:

• Experience with simulation systems. • Team leadership experience. • Technical degree preferred. • Control Account Manager Experience. • CAM Certification or PMI/PMP Certification. • Strong EVM knowledge/experience with appropriate applications/execution tools. • Familiarity with the IFG Mission Systems domain. • Experience in estimating technical development tasks. • Experience with LM capital and IT management processes. • Previous Risk and Opportunity Management development and tracking experience. • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies.
