Lockheed Martin is looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join the Navigation Systems team in Denver, Colorado that is delivering Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites and providing precision navigation and timing to the world. As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Creatively use DOORS in daily processes while supporting tech insertion efforts utilizing MBSE
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and efficiency analyses for total systems—analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
• Ensure the logical and detailed conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Update and release vehicle level specs
• Responsible for Control Boards (Poer/Thermal, Mass Properties, RF)
• Owner of RF link budgets

• Technical budget owner experience
• Spec development experience
• DOORs experience
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Masters Degree in Systems or Electrical Engineering or relevant field
• Current Top Secret security clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
