The Space Security Division within Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer-IT to join our Agile team, specializing in IT Infrastructure (Systems Administration, Networking, & Hardware) within the Whiskey Program Area. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in the following areas:
• Proficiency in Windows System Administration, including Active Directory, PowerShell, and Group Policy
• Experience in Linux system administration
• Hold a Security+, CISSP, or other certification that satisfies DOD 8570 requirements
As a highly adaptable and versatile candidate, you should also be able to perform the following tasks with minimal supervision, while maintaining a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude:
• Executing software installations and managing accounts (Active Directory & Group Policy)
• Implementing virtualization, networking, and hardware design, procurement, and installation
• Applying systems engineering, test, and verification principles
• Displaying a broad skill set that encompasses many of these domains to perform a wide range of infrastructure tasks
• Being a goal oriented team player, creative thinker, problem-solver, and adhering to all ethical standards of the Lockheed Martin Corporation. This is a level 2 role where successful applicants will typically possess a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
