Systems Engineer (Digital Tools & Engineering) - Level 3

As a part of the Sustainment Digital Tools and Engineering (DT&E) team, the teammate will be supporting the multiple platforms across the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics portfolio and more importantly, the warfighters that employ them. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of digital tools and engineering solutions in support of the digital thread across sustainment business, modeling and customer value streams within Lockheed Martin programs. This role requires a background in systems engineering, an understanding of software development, and sustainment operations. The selectee will also be responsible for:

  • Support the requirements decomposition and design implementation using digital thread tools and solutions to support design optimization of sustainment value streams, predictive tools, customer maintenance and supply value stream improvements, and AI/ML integration into existing designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sustainment requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Update and maintain technical roadmaps and acceptance criteria for sustainment digital tools and engineering solutions
  • Provide technical problem solving support in design, build, test and validation & verification of the various products
  • Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements and develop use cases for digital tool and engineering solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in sustainment digital tools and engineering solutions, and apply this knowledge to improve Lockheed Martin's sustainment capabilities

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
