Lockheed Martin's Next Gen Geo (NGG) OPIR Mission Operations Support (NMOS) Team is an industry leader in infrared payload launch and satellite operations that maintains a deep, cohesive relationship with our launch and mission customers while developing a holistic understanding of the NGG Interim Operations (NIO) system and providing adaptive inter-organizational surge support. NMOS promotes the operational perspective across the NIO initiative while being the center of operational training. The NMOS Team is hiring an Associate Engineering Manager who will be accountable for day-to-day technical performance execution on the program located in Longmont, Colorado and Boulder, CO. The program role will involve Integration, implementation of Ground Software and Satellite Vehicle processes and procedures, Launch Readiness, Training, Crew Operations Support and/or Rehearsal functions to prepare for and execute NGG Launch and Operations. In addition, they will be responsible for timely staffing/hiring, employee engagement, talent development and management, and effective 360 deg communication. The successful candidate is responsible for successfully leading and managing a workforce of approximately 12 Lockheed Martin Space employees that support the NGG OPIR program. This position will require the candidate to effectively communicate, collaborate and partner with the Operations and Engineering Leadership personnel, Program Manager, peers, employees and subcontractor personnel, and Customers to successfully meet both functional and LOB technical and business goals/objectives. This position will also require support to Program Management business rhythms, related new business activities, and customer meetings. The Systems Engineering Associate Manager must demonstrate a strong commitment and adherence to the Lockheed Martin Core Values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and have a history of team building, collaboration, and customer relationship management. The individual must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently with minimum management oversight. Work Schedule Information: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
