You will be the Systems Engineer Associate Manager for the Air System Analysis & Verification (ASA&V) team which is responsible for leading the newly forming Business Operations team.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of systems engineers, managing talent, and developing common cost, schedule, and proposal approaches. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing dual roles as functional leader of a group of systems engineers and as an experienced engineer leading a project or performing technical tasks supporting the ASA&V organization.
• Managing talent, including staffing planning, knowledge sharing, career development, performance reviews, training, and recruiting.
• Developing common cost, schedule, and proposal approaches between the various subteams within the ASA&V organization.
• Building relationships with team members, direct reports, and stakeholders.
• Growing team members' skills and providing regular feedback.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance that has been adjudicated within the last 5 years to start.

• Experience with project management using Agile process and (Product management, Scrum, and using JIRA). • Experience with Earned Value Management and/or Control Account Management (CAM) experience • Knowledge/experience working with proposals. • Adaptable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong oral and written communication. • Demonstrated experience and skills building successful teams to solve complex problems. • Experience mentoring other team members.
