Lockheed Martin is looking for an energetic and high performing Systems Engineer to join the team in Boulder, CO. This position is in support of the Enterprise Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Solution (EOS) program.
• Have general knowledge of system architecture and ongoing/future changes to system affecting system design at a high level; also understanding program processes
• Prepare for and participate in program meetings, boards, and design reviews
• Ensure requirements are captured and allocated to appropriate tests
• Perform technical detailed test planning, system integration and testing for verification and validation
• Support System Certification Activities
• Experience supporting OPIR and/or SBIRS mission processing environments
• Familiarity with IT and Weapon System Architecture (WAA) certification and accreditation activities
• Proven ability to analyze complex technical data and develop executable solutions under tight, schedule-driven constraints, including working with incomplete or conflicting information
• Experience collaborating with hardware and software development teams to ensure mission requirements are effectively implemented
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong presentation skills and the ability to brief both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while managing multiple roles and priorities across program operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and foster effective working relationships across cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated systems thinking mindset, with the ability to apply structured problem-solving approaches to drive solutions and continuous improvement
This position is onsite full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility in Boulder, CO. The work schedule is 9x80 every other Friday off. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. TS/SCI clearance is required.
