You will be the Staff Systems Engineer - Level 4 for the Advanced Development Program (ADP) which is responsible for pioneering next-generation aircraft technologies. What You Will Be Doing As the Staff Systems Engineer - Level 4 you will be responsible for translating ambitious concepts into verifiable system designs, driving the integration of cutting-edge engineering disciplines, and delivering results in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading system architecture and trade-study activities for advanced aircraft concepts.
• Driving Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tool adoption.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to execute agile development cycles.
• Managing multiple concurrent assignments while maintaining technical rigor and schedule commitments.
• Producing technical risk assessments and present actionable solutions to senior leadership.

Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Palmdale, CA. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.

Experience in Mission Systems (MS) system design and development Experience executing in a digital engineering environment (i.e., MBSE and digital twin) Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, 3DX, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements Work experience with operational modeling tools Experience developing a system architecture Experience using software tools (such as MS Excel, JIRA and Access) Experience with systems engineering processes

Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Work Schedule 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
