Software Quality Engineer Sr. - Grand Prairie, TX

You will be the Software Quality Engineer for our team in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining Systems/Software Quality Engineering (SSQE) common processes that align with AS9100 Quality Management System, Capability Maturity Model-Integrated (CMMI), and customer requirements.

What You Will Be Doing As the Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software processes from requirements through testing, supporting test equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, and driving compliance with contractual and company requirements. You will focus on systems, software, suppliers and test equipment/test stations, working closely with test engineering, systems/software development personnel, and program team members. Your responsibilities will include:

• Focusing on systems and software for the entire lifecycle.
• Focusing on test equipment and test sets, working directly with test engineering and program teams.
• Working directly with supplier on software related efforts.
• Identifying root causes and corrective actions including performing process/product evaluations/audits.
• Evaluating data to identify systemic test equipment issues and trends.
• Participating in peer reviews of software and test equipment requirements, design, code and documentation.
• Collaborating with software suppliers and participating in program reviews and testing events at suppliers.
