The Work The Software Engineering Team Lead will direct a high-performing group of 5-15 engineers in designing, building, and operating software solutions that overcome program infrastructure challenges and boost the throughput of the Agile Release Train (ART). You will drive end-to-end delivery of Python, Java, and Ansible-based applications while championing modern DevOps practices—Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. Operating in an Agile Scrum (SAFe) environment, you'll coordinate work across multiple projects, ensure strict adherence to the full software development lifecycle, and maintain engineering standards and contractual compliance. Regular interaction with customers will be required to refine requirements, present technical solutions, and keep projects aligned with program objectives, cost, schedule, and risk constraints.

Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. This position is based at a Lockheed Martin facility in Colorado Springs, CO.
