MFC is one of five Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. LM's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is expanding its teams in multiple locations, including Orlando, FL; Ocala, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Goleta, CA; Troy, AL; Chelmsford, MA; Camden, AK; Archibald, PA; Lexington, KY. • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must also be able to obtain an interim secret prior to start. Must be a US Citizen.

• Ada / C / C++/ C# software development

• Adaptability with rapidly changing technologies and the willingness to continuously learn and integrate emerging tools and frameworks.

• Data Governance & Security: Familiarity with data governance frameworks and the ability to implement data quality, lineage and metadata management.

• Data Modeling & Architecture: Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, including dimensional modeling, normalized schemas, and entity-relationship diagrams.

• DevOps & Data Ops Practices: Experience incorporating CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code for data environments using tools like Helm, Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.

• Embedded C++ Software Development Experience

• Exceptional troubleshooting skills for tough technical challenges

• Experience doing low level embedded software development including one or more of the following (Board Support Packages (BSP), device drivers, bootloaders).

• Experience leading a software development team

• Experience with Linux

• Experience with Python programming language

• Experience with the VxWorks Operating system

• Experience working in an Agile team structure.

• Experience working in a hardware in the loop lab developing, testing, and integrating HW/SW solutions

• Familiarity with hardware interfaces, bus protocols, and analog/digital signaling

• Object-Oriented Programming Experience

• Proficient with Git

• Real-time Embedded software development experience

• SQL Databases: Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize relational database systems.

• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance

• Defense or Aerospace Industry experience

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $62,700 - $110,630. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
