You will be the Software Engineer Sr for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. What You Will Be Doing As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop Embedded Software
• Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• Perform Control Account Management and Earned Value management and provide SW subcontract management oversight

Experience in software engineering and software development Ability to interpret program needs, formulate solutions, and communicate to leadership effectively. Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams. Experience designing ground system embedded software. Experience with GitLab CI/CD Software integration and verification experience

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
