Lockheed Martin has been embedded with the USSTRATCOM Nuclear Mission for 30+ years and has a track record of bringing innovative mission software solutions to this domain. Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking engineers to support our USSTRATCOM software teams which create Planning and Command and Control (C2) capabilities as part of the Strategic Mission Planning and Execution System (SMPES) in a DevSecOps environment. In this role, you will help our team create modern Web-based, Java mission systems for the Nuclear community. The successful candidate will have experience with software systems built to exacting standards that are delivered on a DevSecOps cadence using Agile Scrum.

Our team needs a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will work as part of a cross-functional Agile team to implement new mission capabilities. Your software will need to reflect secure coding, architectural, and usability best practices as you work Full Stack across the mission architecture. This position also includes collaborating with architecture, cyber, test, and product owner stakeholders to deliver capabilities. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance.

Familiarity with development tooling VS Code, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA Experience with JavaScript Frameworks / Libraries (React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML Experience with Web Services (REST) or JSON/XML. Experience with Kafka Java Spring, Spring Boot experience Experience developing using microservice architectures Experience with Relational Database Access / SQL / JPA / Hibernate Engineering experience with AFNWC SMPES, MPAS, NPES Systems

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
