As a Senior RF Engineer within Lockheed Martin Space, you will perform the following:
- Support multiple phases of RF product lifecycle including design, development, test, and deployment
- Engage with other leaders and Subject Matter Experts to participate in design reviews and provide feedback/input on RF systems and hardware designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and deployment of RF systems and hardware
- Example assignments include Design, test, and troubleshoot RF hardware systems, including prototype and deliverable hardware. Successful applicants typically possess 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline
Desired skills:
- Familiarity with RF test software and tools
- Experience with designing RF active and passive electronics
- Experience with RF parts selection and evaluation
- RF prototyping experience
- PWB/PCB/PWA/CCA design, drawing generation, and drawing release experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition or equivalent
- Demonstrated understanding of RF test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generator, etc.)
- Ability to design and plan for designs to experience flight environments (vibration, temperature, multipaction, corona)
- RF design experience including knowledge of power amplifiers, microwave integrated circuit design and RF measurement techniques
- Vendor interface experience, including evaluating vendor solutions
- Vendor spec writing and procurement experience
- Ability to obtain, and maintain, a Top Secret clearance
