You will be the Quality Engineer for Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX, working in the Material Test Lab. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured and procured products, and you will play a key role in achieving this goal.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for verifying requirements and testing materials to ensure compliance with industrial standards. You will develop and maintain quality evaluation and control systems, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions, and implement methods for inspecting and testing products. Your responsibilities will include:

• Verifying requirements and testing materials for compliance
• Developing and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems
• Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing functions

• Conducting quality assurance tests and statistical analysis

STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher, preferably in Material Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering discipline Ability to review, interpret and apply specifications to determine compliance with requirements Test experience with materials and components such as electronic components, perishable materials, and raw metals Experience with Root Cause Analysis tools Ability to organize and track multiple activities and prioritize tasks based on importance Knowledge of configuration and data management Demonstrated problem solving skills Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power point, etc. Ability to travel
