Project Engineer Principal - Level 6

You will be the Earned Value and Contract Management Lead for the F-35 Line Of Business (LoBE) Readiness Team. You will also be the backup to the lead for the Mods and Customer Program teams under the F-35 LoBe Readiness team. You will be responsible for understanding and explaining the major Engineering and Technology schedule and cost drivers for the production and modification contracts to LoBE leadership. You will also lead and train the LoBE Readiness team in supporting business operations tempos, Variance Work Cells, Estimate to Complete updates, Risk and Opportunity reviews and Cost and Schedule metric reviews. As a Principal in the organization you will also be a resource for the leadership team as well as a mentor for those seeking guidance in the areas of Earned Value Management and Contract oversight.

What You Will Be Doing As the Lead your responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and addressing issues, risks and opportunities

• Interacting with senior leadership in E&T, program management, sustainment, and stakeholders

• Developing and maintaining a Vemo staffing plan that supports evaluation of future staffing needs

• Performing personnel tasks including mentoring, training, assigning and directing work, and providing feedback for performance reviews. Will provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members.

• Identify areas of training for team members specifically in the Earn Value Management and Contract specific areas.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $144,600 - $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
