Are you ready? As our part of the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment project management team, the candidate will be the IPT lead for several LE Mechanical Refresh projects. This will include leading, budgeting, and managing the cost/schedule/technical performance for each assigned Control Account (CA) on multiple contract line-item numbers (CLINs).

Summary of Key Duties: In this role, you will…

  • Effectively manage project performance.
  • Work with partnering organizations (Engineering, Supply Chain, Shipping/Receiving etc.) to ensure all processes are appropriately followed and implemented to ensure smooth product flow throughout the lifecycle
  • Identify risks and opportunities to the program Risk & Opportunity Control Board and implement approved mitigation plans
  • Support proposal development for future contract years.
  • Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Senior Manager & the Functional Managers.
  • Support Control Account Managers with monthly VARs / DDMs
  • Present status to Navy Partners & Internal Stakeholders.

Desired skills:

  • Engineering Degree from an accredited college or MBA
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Knowledge of program lifecycle and system integration
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management
  • Previous Estimation or Proposal experience
  • Risk and Opportunity Management experience
  • General technical knowledge of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment and / or FBM Program
  • Demonstrated experience in driving complex issues or problems to successful closure.
  • Experience with manufacturing and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of LM Space command media
  • Good oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Active DOD Secret security clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
