Key activities you will accomplish in this role: As a PCB SME, working for one of the top companies in the world, you will be part of an interdisciplinary engineering team in design, documentation, fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of hardware. In this role, you will work with IPC design and fabrication standards (e.g. IPC-222x series, IPC-601x series, IPC-4101, IPC-4103, IPC-4204, IPC-4552, IPC-4556) and you will be working with external PCB vendors. To be effective in this role, you will need: A Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering is desired. 9+ years professional experience; 7+ years with Masters degree. • Experience with flex, rigid flex, or RF PCBs manufacturing. • Knowledge of IPC design and fabrication standards (e.g. IPC-222x series, IPC-601x series, IPC-4101, IPC-4103, IPC-4204, IPC-4552, IPC-4556) • Experience with IPC standards development • Current or previous IPC-A-600 or IPC-6012 CIS certification • Ability to review PCB Fabrication Drawings comply with IPC Standards, Geometric Tolerancing, and PCB Manufacturability. • Experience in failure analysis (FA) results of x-ray, CT scan, or cross sectional analysis. • Ability to communicate how and why a design meets specified requirements both in writing and verbally. • Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication.
