Operations Engineer

You will be the Operations Engineer for the Performance Management Team (PMT). Our team is responsible for driving performance excellence across the Dallas Production Operations portfolio.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Operations Engineer you will be responsible for leading the Performance Management Team, partnering with Dallas Operations Center managers and functional leaders to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets are achieved through data-driven decision-making and continuous-improvement facilitation.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Coach shop-floor personnel on Lean, Six-Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Track, analyze, and report safety, quality, cost, schedule, and productivity metrics.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards that visualize key indicators.
• Serve as a liaison between the PMT and Dallas Operations Center leadership, communicating progress, risks, and successes.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, production control, and ESH functions to remove improvement barriers.

Desired skills:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
