This Enterprise Operations (EO) position supports Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) and Space. The selected candidate will be responsible for upgrades, operations and maintenance, hardware and software installations, and service requests (servers, workstations, phones, networking, and storage), as well as continuity of operations. We are seeking a Network Engineer/IDS (Infrastructure Delivery Service) team member to join our team supporting Herndon and Manassas. In this fast-paced environment, you'll draw on your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to solve problems and be a contributing member of a highly skilled team. The primary function will be to organize, install, and maintain discrete classified and unclassified networks.

• Working on both unclassified and classified projects, developing, maintaining, and providing support.

• Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security principles.

• Experience with classified network environments and familiarity with government security regulations.

• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Hands-on experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Travel to multiple sites to provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting and resolution of network and infrastructure issues.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
