This position requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. Lockheed Martin is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who is well-versed in Network Engineering including a strong understanding of network, server, and storage environments to support military Space Programs. This position receives day-to-day operations guidance from program staff and will report to the LM IS SWFLANT IT OPS Manager. This is an onsite role, working a 9x80 schedule (every other Friday off!). Responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining our server infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components
• Ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of our servers and data
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
• Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications
• Developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies to continuously improve our server infrastructure
• US Citizenship required at this facility

Desired skills:

• Functional understanding of Splunk for data collection, real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
• Implementation and configuration of firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (i.e. VMware, vSAN)
• Experience with Cloud Networking Infrastructure
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile / Scrum environment
• Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio
• Familiarity with installation and configuration of Big-IP (F5)
• Active Top Secret Clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
