You will support the shop technicians to make sure they have the correct training, right materials, accurate procedures, and properly working tools to perform their job. You will work extensively in SAP and VE-CAMS software to ensure production orders are released as necessary and proper materials are available. You will perform activities in a variety of cross functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering. You will assist the Shop Supervisor and Manufacturing Engineers with daily assignments and prioritization of work.

Experience with tooling design or inspection gauges. Experience with SAP and VE-CAMS software. Attention to detail and able to follow tasks through to closure. Experience with troubleshooting pneumatic machines and other automated manufacturing machines. Experience with leading small teams to common schedules. Experience with tracking equipment calibration and consumable material expirations used in production. General experience in one or more areas of manufacturing operations (i.e assembly and adhesive bonding). Green Belt trained/certified.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
