You will be the Quality Engineering Associate Manager: Auditing and System Compliance, for the MFC Business Area. What you will be doing

As the Quality Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and leading audits to assess compliance with internal and external requirements, standards, and regulations. Engineering skillsets required to audit for compliance to the Intermediate Root Cause & Corrective Actions, auditing Quality Notifications/nonconformance documentation for adequate problem definitions, assess disposition trends for effectiveness and technical adequacy (including engineering justification for UAI dispositions and repair instructions), and system evaluation of MFC's Material Review Board (MRB) processes. This role will also oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead cross-functional audit teams to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action
• Collaborate with quality engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of quality management systems and processes
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and other documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Analyze audit results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote quality awareness and compliance throughout the organization
• Ensure timely and effective closure of audit findings and corrective actions
• Interface with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and customers to ensure compliance with external requirements

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work schedule information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
