Come work with multidisciplinary engineers focused on delivering world class Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) on the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. As an MGSE Engineer, you will work with a diverse work force responsible for the development, design, fabrication, test, and delivery of support equipment. Job responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of 3D CAD Modeling in PTC CREO, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), have good communications skills (both oral and written) and a background in Mechanical Engineering processes. A willingness to travel and ability to obtain a DOD security clearance is required.
Mechanical design experience performing conceptual and detailed CAD modeling in PTC CREO, creation of 2D production type drawings, drawing revisions, releases and engineering change notices using Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) - Knowledge of industrial standards and federal regulations including ANSI, OSHA, and AWS (including AWS weld symbology) - Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and of ASME Y14.5 - Experience with manufacturing and manufacturing processes. - Knowledge of LM Space command media. - Good oral, written, and presentation communication skills. - Active DOD Secret security clearance.
