Lockheed Martin's Mechanical Products Talent Center is looking for a dynamic and industrious Mechanical Engineering Manager to support Mechanical Services. As the Mechanical Engineering Manager you will lead a Mechanical Engineering team supporting Enterprise solutions for Design, Verification and digital transformation. Leadership duties include technical direction, planning, tools, training, and staffing.
• Manage Mechanical resources during Program life cycles
• Develop vision and support the success of Mechanical Products, incorporating LM Space E&T strategies for continuous digital transformation
• Provide inputs and ensure compliance with program standards
• Provide hardware documentation compliant with customer requirements, Space Command Media and LM Space Best Practices
• Encourage open communication, customer satisfaction, and timely program status updates
• Engage with teams to ensure Common Products, Standardization & Optimization is part of Product Strategy and Road Mapping
• Ensure staffing tool (e.g. VEMO) is accurate and staffed in a timely and responsive manner
• Some travel is required
• Bachelor of Science or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; or equivalent experience/combined education
• Thorough knowledge of aerospace structures hardware, knowledgeable in multiple mechanical systems (ex. flight, ground, packaging, verification, or mechanisms)
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Control Account Management (CAM) experience
• Training planning and critical skills experience with an understanding of continuous improvement concepts
• Organizational growth and recruiting experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide range of partners
• Active or Current Top Secret clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
