Mechanical Engineer, Senior - Lexington, KY
Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOFGLSS) contract, located in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and complete modifications on various military vehicle and aircraft platforms in support of the warfighter. This program, critical to the success of US service men and women deployed throughout the world has a mission to rapidly and properly equip the SOF community and its war fighters with the best possible systems and equipment anywhere in the world. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with lead engineers, project engineers, and systems and design teams to support existing platforms to ensure the customer fleets' continued operation.
- Reviewing customer requests, deconflicting technical data, determining and developing solutions to issues, submitting and processing necessary documentation.
- Development of component installation, assembly, and part designs and drawings for integration of equipment, including: mechanical systems, armor, radios, antennas, transmitters, power equipment, server systems and components, etc.
- Documenting and processing engineering releases and changes.
- Contributing to customer reviews.
