You will be the Materials and Process Engineer for our Engineering Department. Our team is responsible for developing and optimizing materials for use in structures, systems, and subsystems on major production programs, driving innovation in the aerospace industry.
What You Will Be Doing As the Materials and Process Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, researching, and developing materials and surface treatments to tackle complex technical problems. This position is located in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Active Department of Defense SECRET clearance. - Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering/Science - Familiarity with components and subassemblies - Familiarity with evaluating and developing material and specifications - Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, machine drawings, 2-D drawings, CAD drawings and material callouts and/or material processing note - Demonstrated interpersonal skills - Familiarity with programs at MFC - Excellent writing and verbal communication skills for generating M&P support documentation, material plans, material and process reports, and potential proposals are necessary - Candidate must be capable of performing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and team environment - Candidate must have strong analytical and organizational skills
