Manufacturing Engineer Sr / CNC Machining / Orlando, FL / 4X10 | Lockheed Martin

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr for the Machining Operations Center (MOC) within Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). Our team is responsible for producing ultra-precision machined components that enable infrared and electro-optical targeting systems for critical defense platforms.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr you will be responsible for delivering high-quality precision parts while supporting continuous improvement across the Orlando site.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Industrial, and Quality Engineers and production stakeholders to define machining solutions.
• Develop, refine, and maintain CAM programs and machining strategies for CNC mills, lathes, and other precision equipment.
• Create and update detailed work instructions, fixtures, and tooling drawings that drive consistent shop-floor execution.
• Provide on-site support to resolve technical and manufacturing issues and lead root-cause investigations for non-conformances.
• Monitor and report on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects, driving corrective actions as needed.
