As a Manufacturing Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space in Courtland, AL, you will play a pivotal role in producing next-generation missiles, harnesses, and chassis for Targets, Hypersonic, and Mars vehicles. You will lead technical teams, support assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) operations, and contribute to process improvements that enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key duties/responsibilities include:

• Leading daily technical and shop floor operations to meet engineering, schedule, and cost commitments.
• Developing, maintaining, and implementing manufacturing plans, tooling requirements, and engineering changes.
• Creating procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment and optimizing product performance.
• Adapting machine/equipment design to manufacturing conditions and integrating inspection/testing requirements.
• Providing engineering guidance on design concepts and specifications for efficient production.
• Communicating with internal teams and external customers on routine matters; resolving technical problems of moderate complexity.
• Traveling occasionally to other sites to support manufacturing operations.
