What You Will Be Doing
- Translate complex engineering blueprints and parts lists into easy-to-follow, all-encompassing work instructions for the mechanics/assemblers on the production floor.
- Improve the overall process of the build using complex, cutting-edge technologies and automation.
- Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems through troubleshooting and development of new processes for ever-changing products built in our factory.
- Perform root-cause corrective action (RCCA) and Lean Six Sigma improvement efforts.
- Develop process improvements to lower cost, increase quality, and deliver a better, repeatable product faster.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Experience writing technical work instructions. Able to work in a cross-function, teaming environment. Detailed knowledge of GD&T SAP. Experience of LEAN Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques. CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design. Experience working with electro-mechanical and/or optical assemblies. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
