Industrial Engineer Sr - (Level 3) | Lockheed Martin

Our team is responsible for work measurement, cost analysis, capacity requirements planning (reporting and analysis), capital project management and budget planning, discrete event simulation etc. As an Industrial Engineer, you will support cross-functional improvement efforts for a production area, working closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes. You will also perform data analysis, observations, and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting cross-functional improvement efforts for a production area
• Identifying areas of focus for production improvement across a wide scope
• Work directly with and in support of the production operations team
• Performing observations and time studies to support cost driver analysis and process improvement
• Using visualization and data analytic tools to analyze production processes
• Applying Lean and Six-Sigma practices to production and leading major improvement efforts
• Assisting in new product development and proposal efforts with data analysis

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Desired skills:

• Bachelor of science degree in Industrial Engineering or related Field
• Proficiency with computer systems and data analytics
• Experience applying lean manufacturing principles & implementing continuous improvements with demonstrated results
• Proficiency with software including Tableau, MS Project, MS Word, advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, & Visio
• Ability to communicate effectively and be persuasive with solutions
• Experience with production scheduling

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
