You will be the Industrial Engineer for our Electronic Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for applying advanced Industrial Engineering techniques to optimize production processes and improve efficiency in our World Class Electronic Manufacturing facility. What You Will Be Doing As the Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving production processes, applying traditional Industrial Engineering techniques, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

• Effectively apply traditional Industrial Engineering techniques and disciplines
• Perform labor, efficiency and capacity analyses as well as standard data development
• Identify and provide justification for required resources (capital, equipment, tools, etc.) based on analysis of production flow and capacity
• Analyze HPU variance and trends for assigned area(s) to identify and address opportunities for improvement
• Analyze and improve production layouts to be optimal for current and future production rates
• Evaluate and improve material handling methods in assigned area(s)
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities

Further Information About This Opportunity: This position is in Lufkin. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Desired skills:

• Hands-on experience in a production environment with knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes in a factory environment
• Experience creating and modifying Simulations using Simio software
• Experience developing process maps
• Skilled in problem-solving techniques and methods
• Experience with SAP and familiarity with Apriso
• Familiarity with MFC products and processes
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
