The Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HWIL) Engineer will support the design, development, and implementation of real‑time, closed‑loop HWIL capabilities for test‑bed programs. This early‑career role (≈1+ year experience) provides hands‑on exposure to HWIL integration, troubleshooting of test equipment, and collaboration with multi‑disciplinary teams while building a foundation for future responsibilities.
What You Will Be Doing
• Assist in integrating and testing air vehicle software, firmware, and hardware within the HWIL facility.
• Support the installation and debugging of stimulation equipment, connectors, timing modules, and associated test hardware.
• Operate and troubleshoot HWIL‑related lab equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition systems, etc.).
• Contribute to program meetings, prepare status updates, and interface with systems, software, mechanical, and test engineers.
• Participate in verification and validation activities for subsystems and overall system performance.
• Develop and maintain simple test procedures, documentation, and issue tracking records.

Desired skills
