As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supporting our operations in Fort Smith, Arkansas, you'll play a vital role in strengthening the workforce behind some of the world's most advanced defense and aerospace technologies.

As the primary HR partner for the Fort Smith site, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders alike. You'll help align people strategies with business objectives, build engagement, and ensure our teams are supported to perform at their best. What You Will Be Doing: In this role, you'll partner closely with leaders across multiple sites to deliver people solutions that drive business results and foster a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing people strategies that support organizational goals and employee growth.
  • Building trusted relationships with leaders and employees to promote engagement, inclusion, and collaboration.
  • Providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Supporting onboarding, orientation, and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen connection and retention.
  • Advising on compensation, staffing, and workforce planning to ensure equitable and effective decisions.
  • Conducting investigations, analyzing data, and using insights to inform HR and business decisions.
  • Partnering with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver programs and initiatives that enhance the employee experience.

Who You Are: You're a proactive and collaborative HR professional who thrives on connection and impact. You're comfortable working across multiple sites, using data to guide decisions, and building relationships that strengthen both people and performance.

• Prior experience working in military or other government contracting industries – aerospace or defense preferred

• Knowledge and or experience working under Service Contract Act (SCA)

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a challenging business related environment

• Demonstrated ability to build effective cross functional and cross site relationships

• Effective presentation and facilitation skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
