You will be the Harness Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for delivering cutting-edge aircraft harness and interconnect solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Harness Design Engineer you will be responsible for applying deep technical expertise to solve complex wiring and power-distribution challenges while partnering closely with systems, mechanical, structural, and integration teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Produce electrical wiring schematic drawings and design intricate power-distribution systems.
• Translate electrical specifications into clear routing diagrams, cable layouts, and detailed installation procedures, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive wiring-harness documentation, support prototype builds, troubleshoot integration issues, and manage change requests.
• Develop supplier statements of work and oversee system check-outs to ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements.
• Work directly with manufacturing during build-up to diagnose and resolve system problems.

Your background includes supplier management, change-control processes, and hands-on troubleshooting with manufacturing. As a U.S. citizen, you understand the importance of security and integrity in mission-critical programs.
